Greyson's first birthday was all about Mickey this year. It was rough for the little guy, with his 3rd molar coming in the week prior and it lingering over into the weekend. That's the thing about teeth, they don't just grow in a day.
Poor little monkey. The 2nd birthday will be better, I hope for his sake. There is nothing worse than seeing your baby in pain and just downright fussy from not feeling good and you can't do anything but hope the medicine will kick in and help them feel better. Add to the mix of not having a solid nap before the party and it just creates the perfect recipe for a cranky little man. My poor nugget!
He hung in there though, as uncomfortable as he was. I'm thankful we kept it small with just immediate family, just for Greyson's sake. He's a sensitive little guy and too much commotion does not make for smiles and giggles with him, especially when he just doesn't feel good.
Like a good friend of mine said, "It's his birthday and he can cry if he wants to, cry if it wants to." ❤️

My one regret was not taking enough pictures of Greyson with everyone else who came, let alone pictures with just the birthday boy and Momma and Daddy. But things like that get tossed out the window when your main focus is having your baby feel better. :(
